Mead welcomes presenters for eighth-grade Career Day

Mead Junior High School welcomed more than a dozen guests for eighth grade Career Day May 12. Among the Students listen to a police officer talk about his careerfields represented were broadcast journalism, software engineering, sports marketing, chemistry, photography, military recruiting, nursing, social work, law enforcement and broadcast journalism. In addition to sharing with students specifics pertaining to their careers, the presenters stressed the importance of keeping an open mind, putting the best self forward and taking advantage of opportunities that present themselves in the years to come.
