Stevenson Elementary Teacher Julianne Collier received the 2024 Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching on Monday, May 7. The Golden Apple Foundation made a surprise visit in the middle of a school assembly, and invited her family, friends and former students, who cheered loudly with the Stevenson students and staff. The Golden Apple Foundation recognized Julie for making a positive impact on students’ growth and learning. Julie supports students in kindergarten, first and second grade in reading and math. She collaborates with professional learning communities both at the school level and district level to differentiate instruction to best meet the needs of students. Julie truly believes in every child and inspires them to learn and achieve their full potential. Congratulations Julie!
