The Board of Education of Schaumburg Community Consolidated School District 54 will hold a regularly scheduled meeting at 7 p.m. Sept. 17 in the Professional Learning Center, 522 E. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg, Illinois. Illinois Governor Pritzker extended his executive order allowing virtual board meetings to ensure the health and safety of our community. The Governor’s order also provides that in-person meetings should be limited to no more than 50 people in one room. The meeting will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. online at https://sd54.zoom.us/j/99263309930?pwd=emtGenQ4Y2lOSlRsMU0zNjAzV3dZZz09.
The agenda can be found online at https://go.boarddocs.com/il/sd54/Board.nsf/Public. Open meeting Board discussions and actions will be summarized in writing and posted on the District 54 website along with a recording from the meeting after the meeting concludes.
Individuals who wish to submit public comments without appearing in person, may click here to fill out the D54 Public Comment Form. The form will be closed at 5 p.m. Sept. 3, so that we have time to download the comments and have them ready to be read into the public record at the board meeting. District 54 Board Policy 2:230 requires individuals to state their name as part of public comments at board meetings. If individuals submit anonymous comments, we will share those comments with the School Board but we will not be reading them into the public record. Your email and phone number will not be shared as part of the public record.
