Are you a parent/caregiver of an English language learner in District 54? You are invited to join our MPAC (Multilingual Parent Advisory Council) Meeting from 5-6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4 in the District 54 Professional Learning Center (522 E. Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg; enter through Door C1). This month’s topic is Mental Health and Supporting Your Child.
During our time together, we will be joined by Dr. Liz Perez, a District 54 school psychologist, who will share strategies for supporting your child’s emotional well-being and responding to their feelings, especially during times of transition for English language learners. We will also share information about school support for mental health.
Interpretation will be available in Spanish, Japanese, Ukrainian and Russian.
