It is time for fourth-grade students to sign up for Instrumental Music lessons next year!
Information about band (trombone, trumpet, clarinet, flute) and orchestra (cello, viola, or violin) will be distributed to fourth-grade students at school. However, District 54 is also hosting the following meetings for parents to share information about the Instrumental Music Program and demonstrate the various instruments.
Families are encouraged to attend the meeting at their neighborhood junior high, but can attend whichever meeting works best for them.
- Addams Junior High – 6 p.m. Monday, April 20
- Mead Junior High – 6 p.m. Monday, April 20
- Keller Junior High – 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 21
- Eisenhower Junior High – 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 22
- Frost Junior High – 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 22
No previous music experience is necessary to play an instrument. Band and orchestra lessons will start in September. Please visit the Instrumental Music website for more information and to enroll your current fourth-grade student for the 2026-27 school year.
