It is the policy of District 54 not to discriminate on the basis of disability in its educational programs, activities or employment policies. Any parent who is deaf or does not typically communicate using spoken English and who participates in a Section 504 meeting in District 54 shall be entitled to the services of an interpreter. District 54 will provide an interpreter for IEP, multidisciplinary conference, and 504 meetings, as well as due process hearing or mediation.
