Postsecondary and Career Expectations

The Illinois Postsecondary and Career Expectations (PaCE) Framework was designed to expose students to a variety of career and technical education pathways by introducing students to career exploration opportunities that allow students to explore a wide variety of high-skill, high-wage, or in-demand career fields. 

Students exposed to:

  • Information & examples of wide range of careers
  • Language that emphasizes individual skills, strengths, assets
  • Practices that develop a growth mindset
