- An applicant may be requested to interview with a potential cooperating teacher. A placement would be made based on the results of the interview.
- After a placement is made, a confirmation letter will be sent to the university that includes the cooperating teacher contact information for the student.
Request to Observe
To begin the observation process in our district, you must complete the District 54 Observation Request Form form and email it to SherryMadej@sd54.org. We handle the observation requests on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once we receive your request, we will look for a teacher that matches your needs. If one is available, we will provide you with the name of the teacher and their contact information so you can directly arrange mutually convenient hours with the teacher.
